Most tour prices quoted are valid to December 31, 2003, and include all accommodations,
meals (including bottled water and soft drinks), transfers, sightseeing,
baggage handling, hotel taxes, entrance fees and park fees, guide services
and airport departure taxes as indicated in each itinerary.
Not included in quoted tour prices:
Costs of obtaining passports or visas; personal expenses such as beverages
(except those provided with included meals), laundry, and room service; gratuities
to escort, camp staff, driver-guide; excess baggage fees; communication charges;
airport departure taxes; in transit meals; any airfares unless specifically
noted in the itinerary; game drives, sightseeing or meals not included in
the itinerary optional activities; personal insurance coverage. Baggage is
at the owner's risk throughout the tour.
Registration
For all programs, a deposit of $800 per person is required at the time
you book. The remainder of the cost of your trip is due 90 days prior to
your departure date. If your reservation is made within 90 days of departure,
the entire cost of the trip must be paid at the time of confirmation.
Cancellations
Cancellations received by GeoEx 90 days or more prior to departure will
be subject to a $250 per-person/per tour or tour extension cancellation fee.
Cancellations received less than 90 days prior to departure will be subject
to the following forfeit of tour or Extension cost: 89-60 days, 20% of tour
cost; 59-30 days, 50% of tour cost; 29-0 days, 100% of tour cost.
GeoEx's Passenger Travel Protection
Program, which helps provide for reimbursement in the event of unexpected
cancellation, lost or damaged luggage and illness is strongly recommended.
Claims and
Refunds
Except for verifiable extenuating circumstances, refunds are
not made for any missed tour services. Please see Limits of Responsibility.
For verifiable claims to be considered, they must be received in writing
within 30 days of the termination of the tour and be accompanied by supporting
documentation and/or a statement from the Tour Operating Company verifying
the claim. Any adjustment considered will be based on the actual cost of
the services involved and not on a per diem basis. Adjustments will not be
made for unused sightseeing trips or meals. GeoEx will not accept any liability
for any claims that are not received within 30 days of the termination of
your tour. Cruise itineraries are subject to change at the discretion of
GeoEx and of those in command of the vessel, based on operational and other
considerations, including weather and water levels.
Prices and
Arrangements
Quoted tour prices include planning, handling and operational charges,
and are based on current rates of exchange, tariffs and taxes as of June
2002. GeoEx reserves the right to increase tour prices to cover increased
costs, tariffs and taxes, and to reflect fluctuations in foreign exchange
markets.
